Travel on the Fly was created by avid outdoorsman and physician, Austin Satterfield. Dr. Satterfield first found this passion through engaging in the sport of fly fishing after a guided trip with Tellico Outfitters based in Tellico Plains, TN. He was hooked from the start and soon began studying topography maps and exploring new waters. More recently, he purchased an RV, which spurred on the quest to travel, camp, and fish in a seemingly endless realm of possibilities. This blog serves to provide a few entertaining accounts of his adventures, which are just too good not to share with likeminded enthusiasts
